INTRODUCTORY COURSES

16 September - 21 October
Free Up Your Life
an introduction to the Buddhist path of freedom

6 Tuesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30
With an optional day retreat on Sunday 19th October
Led by Dhammavijaya

Though you may be feeling weighed down or stuck in a rut, you have more energy than you think.

According to the Buddha, our true nature is nothing other than pure energy. We just need to learn the ways to release, direct and refine it. This course will show you how. Using symbolism from the Buddhist tradition, we will learn how energy that is tied up can learn to flow freely again. We will also gain a glimpse of where that energy can most profitable flow, once released.

Meditation is an integral part of this course, which is suitable for complete beginners.

£60 (£30 Concessions).

WHAT NEXT? – GOING DEEPER COURSES

For those who have completed Parts 1 and 2 of the introductory course, or an earlier introductory course, Going Deeper courses enable you to explore further your interest in Buddhism and meditation.

Going Deeper with Meditation

Living Meditation

How do we keep our meditation practice alive? How do we work with our wandering mind? And what do we do when we don't want to meditate? Exploring these and other questions will help you develop your own creative practice of the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana, and enable meditation to have a stronger impact on your everyday life.
