School Visits

Our mission is to share the teachings of the Buddha in an accessible way.
We are happy to host school visits to give a taste of Buddhism and what living as a Buddhist means to students of all ages.

Visits to schools

A typical school visit includes meditation, exploration of an accessible Buddhist topic, a story about the Buddha or a Buddhist figure and a Q&A session.  However, we can tailor the session to what the students are learning at the time, so that their visit can be best taken back to the classroom.

We have capacity for 60 students (primary) or 30 students (secondary) per session. We find that an hour session is usually sufficient for each visit, and are happy to arrange visits over more than one session if required.

The day we can most easily host visits is Mondays, due to the availability of space and our teaching team.

We don't have a set charge for school visits - everything we do here is on a donation basis, because we believe the Buddha's teachings should be accessible to all. We suggest a donation of £2.50 per pupil, and we always welcome more.

It may be possible that a member of our teaching team visits your school. Please contact us to inquire further.
