In a world of 24-hour news and endless social media feeds, overwhelm can feel inevitable. In our complex, fast-changing world, we might start to believe that nothing we do can make a difference. It’s tempting to look away and shut it all out—but deep down, that doesn’t feel right either. Buddhism teaches us that there is a way forward — we can gain control over our mental states and live a fulfilled life.
